Electric Dreams Studio’s music supervision team are Hannah Crofts + Leyla Varela. With their collective experience across post production, management and publishing, they bring a wealth of knowledge, resources and perspectives to the table. Lovers of collaboration, they are always keen to take a hands-on approach, pitching ideas to the creative team or helping a vision come to light. While their Music Supervision service can be shaped around whatever each project needs - focus is always on proactively managing from beginning to end, building creative relationships, working within budgets and timelines - getting things done while keeping it sweet! Their studio knowledge provides extensive experience working with composers, sourcing talent, local indie and the big hits. Credits include The Newsreader Season 2 and forthcoming Season 3, upcoming Stan young adult TV show ‘Invisible Boys’, ABC’s Crazy Fun Park, Glitch and The Australian Dream.

Hannah Crofts IMDB
A multidisciplinary, Aria award winning, music industry professional, Hannah Crofts has worked in Music Management, at Booking Agencies, as a Tour Manager, as an Executive Producer of MusicNSW, and currently as a Producer and Music Supervisor at Electric Dreams. Hannah is also a touring Musician with her projects All Our Exes Live In Texas and Baby Velvet. She currently manages Australian punk band The Vovos, along with being an APRAAMCOS and Green Music Ambassador, and previous work as a board member of Girls Rock! Australia (now Rainbow Rock). Hannah’s greatest claims to fame are touring stadiums with The Backstreet Boys as well as spending 7 minutes in heaven with Katy Perry’s dog at a 4th of July party in Silverlake.
Leyla Varela IMDB
Leyla Varela is a producer, music supervisor and musician based in Melbourne. Growing up in the Flamenco music community and coming of age around the DIY music scene in Melbourne, Leyla’s ambitions have always aligned with music and community. Working and volunteering across public radio, music management, curating gigs, festivals and music publishing before settling into the role of Executive Producer at Electric Dreams Studio in 2016. In this time she’s worked in music post-production across TV, Film and Advertising, working with productions for Netflix, Stan, Paramount+, Binge, ABC in Music Producer + Music Supervision roles. Coming from a music and studio background, she has a passion for collaboration and following creative wormholes. Leyla has also been a committee member with The Boite music project and peer assessor with Creative Victoria + APRA
